Our staff has been performing veterinarian medicine and compassionate animal care in the New Orleans area since 2003. Southern Animal Foundation is a full-service, low-cost animal hospital and rescue organization whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for a more affordable price. During these difficult financial times, it's comforting to know there's a place to get care for your pet at a reasonable price.
Southern Animal Foundation offers the New Orleans area standard medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. Because we have an in-house pharmacy, lab, radiology facilities, and Intensive Care Unit, our facility enables you to make one stop for your pet's medical care. We are open for appointments during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays 8 AM to 2 PM. We also offer the city's lowest-cost spay/neuter program, "Spay LA".
